Our Team
Empowering our people to thrive
Kurians are the heart of Kura's Impact Model, making their well-being essential. We prioritize their personal and professional growth, celebrating the empowerment that drives our success. To support development, we’ve adopted initiatives that focus on growth, alignment, and empowerment:
1. Tour of Duty: A 3-year career development plan that creates temporary alliances with clear, mutual goals between Kura and Kurians. Through commitment letters, efforts are aligned to foster shared growth and value.
2. Coaching: Empowering Kurians by developing personal skills to maximize their capabilities and unlock their full potential.
3. Training: Identifying specific and targeted training needs tailored to roles and personal objectives, ensuring alignment with individual and organizational goals.
4. Active Growth Plans: Supporting Kurians who are effectively on track with their growth plans, reinforcing their professional journeys.
We use 15Five as our engagement tool to provide weekly feedback, track objectives, recognize achievements, and assess workplace well-being. It supports climate surveys, 360 reviews, and fosters alignment with our values, creating a collaborative and motivating environment.

Business Ecosystem
Creating a Sustainable Business Ecosystem
At Kura, we understand that our influence as a company extends beyond our internal operations, reaching the business environment around us. This dimension focuses on two fundamental aspects:
1. We seek to generate a multiplier effect by sharing our model with other organizations, thus promoting the adoption of sustainable and socially responsible business practices in a broader context.
2. We are committed to strengthening our community and contributing to regional economic growth through collaboration with local suppliers. By uniting these efforts, we aspire to create a stronger and more ethical business ecosystem that drives sustainable development locally and globally.

Community
Transforming Vulnerable Communities
This dimension reflects our commitment to being agents of change, fostering progress and well-being in our communities. By supporting vulnerable groups, we aim to create lasting bonds and drive positive transformation where we live and work.
Over six years with Liquen, our focus has been on aiding vulnerable children and adults. Recognizing the varied impact of each project, we now prioritize initiatives that significantly reduce vulnerability and overcome barriers, backed by measurable metrics.
We define vulnerability as disadvantages due to factors like age, health, gender, disability, ethnicity, education, or economic status, which limit access to resources and opportunities essential for development and quality of life (UN, SDGs, OECD).

Environment
Restoring Nature for the Future
We strive to minimize waste through conscious recycling and aim to leave the world better than we found it. Every decision reflects our responsibility to protect biodiversity, preserve nature, and restore ecosystems.
Conservation means safeguarding ecosystems and biodiversity in their original state, while restoration involves reviving degraded ecosystems by restoring biodiversity and ecological functions. Our holistic approach focuses on flora, fauna, soils, and water bodies, targeting large areas like forests and wetlands to promote ecological balance and sustainability.
Our goal is to be carbon-negative—reducing, offsetting, and removing more carbon than we emit. Using the "GHG Protocol," we measure emissions in CO₂ equivalents (tCO₂e) to set actionable goals and actively contribute to environmental restoration.
