RESIST Food allows the detection of the presence or absence of Salmonella enterica from surface samples and a variety of food quickly, with high sensitivity and specificity. RESIST Food is based on vanguard molecular biology whose principle is isothermal amplification and fluorescence, complemented by visual interpretation without highly complex equipment.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

RESIST Food Salmonella enterica Detection Kit is a device for the detection of the Salmonella enterica genome in a fast and straightforward way. The technique is based on rapid extraction of the DNA in samples and subsequent isothermal amplification of the target genetic material. One of the main characteristics of this kit is that the results can be obtained without the need for highly complex equipment since the visualization of the presence is coupled to a fluorimetric reaction, appreciable in a blue light transilluminator with 470 nm wavelengths.
