PRECISION FOOD SAFETY PLATFORM

Your microbiological results and operational data, all in one platform.

Kura Biotech’s platform brings together information from different sources to help you investigate positive findings, identify recurring events, and support decisions across your facility.

It centralizes your results so your team can access the same history, quality can prioritize where to investigate, and plant teams can act with greater context.

THE PROBLEM

Gathering information should not slow down your response.

When microbiological results, historical records, and operational data are stored across different files, spreadsheets, or systems, investigating a positive finding can take longer than it should.

PFSP brings this information together in one platform to make it easier to review, identify relationships, and track what is happening across your facility.

Investigate with microbiological context

Review previous results and related operational information to guide the investigation in the event of a positive result.

icon-recurring events

Identify recurring events

Compare findings over time to identify recurrences and prioritize issues that require follow-up.
icon-team

Make decisions based on shared information

Give laboratory, quality, and plant teams access to the same information to coordinate investigations and actions.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

Turn isolated results into a more comprehensive view of your facility.

  • Different sources
  • Recurrences
  • Findings
  • Identification
  • Team access
  • Different sources

Integrate data from different sources and view the information together

Centralize results from RESIST® Food and other detection systems alongside your operational data. Review findings in a single platform, without limiting your analysis to results from a single provider.

    What You Gain

A consolidated view of information that you previously had to review separately.

  • Recurrences

Identify recurring findings and prioritize where to investigate

Review historical data by date, area, production line, matrix, or sampling point. Compare time periods and review trends to identify where findings recur and focus your follow-up efforts.

    What You Gain

Insights to prioritize your investigation, not just a list of results.

  • Findings

Connect microbiological findings with what is happening in your operation

Review the microbiological results alongside the recorded operational data. Explore possible relationships between the findings and plant conditions to determine what to review and what additional information you need.

    What You Gain

A more comprehensive basis for investigation, rather than interpreting each positive result in isolation.

  • Identification

Request the identification of your positive samples directly from the platform

Request whole-genome sequencing (WGS) for a positive sample and track the status of each request in one place. View reports on genotyping, phylogenetic relationships, antimicrobial resistance, and virulence.

    What You Gain

Greater depth for investigating a positive result, without leaving the platform.

  • Team access

Give your team access to the same information

Allow multiple users to access and work simultaneously from different computers. Facilitate collaboration between the lab, quality control, and the production floor without relying on a single person to open or share records.

    What You Gain

Shared access to records to coordinate review and follow-up.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Learn how to integrate your results and streamline tracking on the shop floor.

What information can I collect on the Precision Food Safety Platform?

PFSP allows you to centralize microbiological results from different detection systems along with operational data. This way, you can view findings and their background information in one place, review the history, and correlate information that was previously scattered.

Do I need to use RESIST® Food to use the platform?

No. PFSP allows you to integrate results from RESIST® Food and other detection systems. You can use it to gather information from various sources without relying on a single technology or vendor.

How are the results incorporated into the platform?

Results can be imported by uploading files. Our team will work with you to review the data sources and formats used by your lab to determine how to consolidate that information in PFSP.

How does PFSP help me track recurrent positive cases?

You can review past results and see where and when positive results recur. This allows you to identify patterns in the history and focus your investigation and follow-up on the areas that require attention.

Can multiple people access it at the same time?

Yes. Multiple users can access the system simultaneously from different computers. This makes it easier for the laboratory, quality assurance, and the plant to view the same information and coordinate the follow-up on findings.

When a positive result appears, you need to investigate. Not start searching for your records.

With PFSP, you can access your results, review historical information, and share relevant context with your team to determine where to focus your investigation.
